Anna Pavlova's first tour outside Russia. [1908]

Album of 105 newspaper clippings, many illustrated, from Danish and Swedish newspapers, covering Anna Pavlova's first international tour in 1908 with dancers from the Maryinsky Theater of Saint Petersburg. The troupe, billed as "The Imperial Russian Ballet", was directed by Adolph Bolm. Ballets performed during the tour included: Paquita, Coppélia, Giselle, Swan lake (two acts), as well as two shorter Petipa ballets, The cavalry halt and Les millions d'Arlequin.
